Maintenance Staff
The Mount Vernon R-V School District is seeking applicants for a Maintenance Staff member to assist the Maintenance Director in caring for the District's grounds and facility function and appearance. This positions' essential functions are:

Keeping the grass mowed at all district campuses including trimming and/or removal of weeds at all
campuses. -
Assisting with seasonal grounds work such as snow, ice and leaf removal.
-
Performing various maintenance tasks such as minor electrical, plumbing and facility
repairs. -
Performing general labor inside and outside the physical plant including handling materials
and supplies, moving equipment and operating power-driven equipment. -
Serving as a substitute custodian in buildings during times of short-staffing.
-
Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
