Description
The Mount Vernon School District is seeking applicants for a Special Education Process Coordinator in the 2025-2026 academic year. This position will work with grades K-5. Valid and appropriate Missouri Certification required. The Process Coordinator will assist the Director of Student Services by assuming responsibility for supervision of the special education process from screening through identification, IEP development, and placement to ensure appropriate identification and placement of students with disabilities and district compliance with state and federal requirements for implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Act, (IDEA) in accordance with district policies and procedures. This position includes a 190 day contract and a Process Coordinator Stipend.
